Okay you guys, super emotional post here! Everyone needs to hold onto friends to that do things like this. I shot Chase & Tira's engagement photos a few weeks ago and shortly after I got an message from her maid of honor telling me about her idea to give them both a gift. She didn't want to do it on the wedding day because she wanted them to be able to some how incorporate it on the big day. She HANDMADE pillows out of each of their dads old shirts. She stitched the quote "This is a shirt I used to wear. Whenever you hold it, know I'm there. - Love Dad/Papa". These incredible gifts will were made with love in memory of their Dad's, and will be their placeholders in chairs on the from row where they belong during the ceremony at their wedding. Are you sobbing yet?! This was such an emotional moment for me to photograph (I for sure cried through the whole moment), and I'm absolutely HONORED that I got to capture this memory for them. What a special thing am I right?! They truly have an amazing friend in Kayleigh. This got me to thinking, how can I better serve my friends/family? How can I make them feel special and thought of? How can I be a better friend? I hope this inspires you to show your friends and family some love the way it did for me!
